AUSTRALIA – Aussie mattress brand Onebed studied countries with people having worst sleep habits and found the Philippines ranking third.
It analyzed data points like average hours of sleep per night, air quality index, noise pollution levels and stress levels.
Also, the study examined the frequency of Google searches for “sleep deprivation and “insomnia remedies.”

The average Filipino sleeps 6.13 hours nightly, with their slumber-related Google searches proving their inadequate sleep habits.
More importantly, it has the highest levels of noise pollution at 55.6, and its stress levels are among the top 10.

The US takes second place with a composite score of 0.951.

For example, it has the lowest average sleep duration among the top 10 at only 5.7 hours nightly.
The United States also has some of the highest noise pollution levels at 46.56 and stress at 7.29.
Moreover, poor sleep habits lead many Americans to search “sleep deprivation” and “insomnia remedies” frequently.
