MANILA, Philippines — South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol arrived in Malacañang on Monday.
He was greeted and welcomed by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

His visit also coincides with the 75th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between the two countries.
Article continues after this advertisementUpon participating in the arrival honors and the signing of the guest book in the Palace, Marcos and Yoon will partake in a bilateral meeting and a state luncheon.

Yoon’s arrival in the Philippines comes days before he and Marcos, as well as some top dignitaries of neighboring countries, will head to Laos for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) summit from October 9 to 11.
